PromptGallery Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Lakshmanan ("we", "us") handles information when you use PromptGallery, a catalog and community for AI image-editing prompts.

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, optional profile image, sign-in provider, and verification status. Email account passwords are stored as hashes. Our backend verifies Google sign-in tokens.
• Gallery activity: prompts you submit, comments, likes, saves, follows, reports, and related activity. Submissions may include before and after images, prompt text, tool information, and usage notes.
• Purchases: subscription product, purchase token, verification result, membership status, and entitlement dates needed to grant or restore Pro access. Google Play handles payment details; we do not receive your full card number.
• Support and device information: feedback you send, a notification token and device details if you enable notifications, and technical records used to secure and maintain the service. Some app preferences are stored on your device.
• Crash diagnostics: Android release builds use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports, stack traces, app and device versions, and installation identifiers so we can diagnose failures. We do not add your account identifier, submitted images, or prompt text as custom Crashlytics fields.
• Optional advertising information: if ads are enabled for your account and you complete the applicable age and consent steps, advertising providers may process device or consent information under their own policies.

How we use information

We use this information to create and protect accounts, verify email addresses, publish and moderate approved content, provide gallery and community features, verify subscriptions, deliver requested notifications, answer support requests, investigate abuse, and maintain the app. We do not sell your personal information or uploaded images.

Images and public content

Uploaded original images are stored privately. The public gallery uses processed preview images for approved submissions. Approved prompt details, previews, comments, and your public profile information may be visible to other users; premium prompt text may require Pro access. Do not submit images or personal information that you do not want reviewed or shown in an approved preview.

Sharing and service providers

We share information as needed to operate PromptGallery, including with hosting and email providers, Google sign-in and Firebase Authentication services, Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics, Google Play for purchase verification, and notification or advertising providers when those features are enabled. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies, including Google's Privacy Policy.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and service records while your account is active and as needed for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. You can update your profile and notification preferences in the app. You can delete your account from Settings → Account security → Delete account or submit a verified request through the public account deletion page.

Deleting an account removes or de-identifies account-linked records. Unapproved submissions and their image files are removed. Previously approved gallery submissions, including their previews and private originals, may remain in the catalog without a link to your deleted account; contact us if you also want a published submission reviewed for removal. A limited record of the deletion request may be retained. Deleting the app or your PromptGallery account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; manage that separately in Google Play.

Your choices and security

You can browse free content without an account, manage notification permission on your device, and use the app's ad privacy controls when available. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes and contact
